What is Ilford Velvet Stipple paper like?

Hey guys. So far in my printing Ive used Ilford VC glossy fiber paper, and Ilford VC glossy & pearl RC paper.

But Ive come across some old Ilford Velvet Stipple fiber paper that I could buy. Ive searched for some information on this paper but cant find much at all on what the paper is like. What is Velvet Stipple?
