What type of film to use

I will be taking some action photographs and I was wondering what is the best film that i could use if I want to enlarge a picture to 8x10in. I am currently using Fujicolor Superia X-Tra iso 400 but is there anything better? Or will that film give me a good result when I enlarge a picture from it?

Superia is consumer grade film. It's good for its price, but not "the best". However if you've had good results with it, then it should enlarge to 8x10 with ease.

Personally, I like Kodak Portra 400vc (stands for vivid color, I think) when it comes to color 400 speed film. It's pretty smooth and the colors pop nicely. Portra 400nc (neutral color) is a little more subtle as far as color, still smooth. Fuji 800z for pro color 800iso is nice if you wanted something faster.
