I've looked (several times) at this group. TBH, I felt a bit like Uncle Ernie........ The comments on many of the photos are over the top and really have nothing to do with the quality of the image. Hell, with five minutes on youporn.com (okay, I stretch it to ten minutes) and a small amount of KY warming gel, I can get the same feelings. I just have to clean up afterwards.

But I do have to thank you because there was another macro group that chirped in that I may be interested in.........

Awesome, that's some very constructive information.

I don't know what rock you live under, but Flickr is more of a social picture sharing site. There are critique groups, but mostly, people comment on photos they like, and sometimes tell you what they like about it.

I find your comment rather uncalled for, and coming from me...

I do have a similar point of reference, but thinking Flickr is good for constructive criticism is like thinking Facebook is good for networking.

I do however like Flickr, and enjoy getting a pat on the back now and then. :)
I have also made some cool friends on there.

I just want to thank everyone who joined, and for the support. Right now it's starting off slow because I have been really busy with school and work. I'll be done with this stupid grad course December 11th, and then I will be able to spend much more time dedicated to this group.

Until then, keep posting your awesome bokeh pictures.

ALSO: To those who joined, and who use Flickr often, I am looking for admins. Basically, I want people who can delete photos that don't contain bokeh, and also people who want to invite people/photos to the group.

Joined (rattyboy) and added a photo, hopefully it is up to par!
