Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
at the moment we have d7000s , ps cs5 and epson3880.
we do wild life and views
the lenses are sigma 18/200 and 150/500.
(1) if we go for the d7100 and use the new 1.3 crop at 15mp and then use the same subject in the d700 but crop in photo shop , then print both at a0 .will I be able to tell the difference from 1ft away ?????
(2)if I use the d750 to take the same subjects and crop them out using photo shop and print the same onto a0 will there be any improvement in image quality as seen from the same 1ft away ?????

question 1) probably not.
question 2) probably not.

Remember that your 18-200 is not designed for a FF FX camera like the D750.

I dont quite understand the questions.

Why would one look at a A0 size (1189 mm x 841 mm) wildlife/views print from 1 foot away (308.4 mm)?

hi .I would not look at the ao print only from a ft away . only a section of it because I have been told that at that distance I will be able to see the difference if any . there for I will change the question will I be able to see a difference at 1meter away +.if I can not why change to either camera.just stay as I am

did you add a d700 to the mix in question 1 or did you mean d7000?

i do not understand you

If I understand correctly ..

# 1
If he uses the d7000 16mp sensor
versus
the d7100 in crop mode which will yield a 15mp image

which one provides the better result?
-- I do not know why he would discount the d7100 at 24mp though?

then the result of above versus a
d750 cropping the image the same way

then export and print as .. say a 400dpi (further restrictions on image) on that particular a0 size
which of the 3 images would look best
????

I don't print very many images, so Ii would just say .. if you have the budget for a d750 then get it
The d7100 in "normal" mode will have a higher pixel density than the d7000 in normal mode.
If you can't afford a d750 but can a d7100, then get the d7100
if you can't afford the d7100, then stick with your d7000

Ok, well having gone all the way through here, I'd probably recommend the D7100 unless you find yourself shooting in low light situations a lot - at least for wildlife. That would probably be the biggest advantage the full frame D750 would have over the D7100, in which case that might be a more attractive option - but quality wise in good lighting I doubt you'd see much difference.

As for the D7100, I don't recommend crop mode in most situations, shoot at the standard 24 mp and crop later if needed.
