Will the Nikon SB-28 work for me?

I am shooting with a:
Nikon F100.
Nikon N75 for travel.
two Nikon E Series lenses. 28mm F2.8 AI-S and a 100mm F2.8 AI-S.

I want to get a speed light to lightly fill in the shadows. Would you recommend the Nikon SB-28 or something else?

Don't have a lot of experience with speed lights.

I've got the sb-28DX works good.

The SB-28 was "the good speedlight" for the F100. Nikon digital slrs need the SB-28DX model to do TTL metering, but for your film Nikons, the SB-28 ought to be perfectly fine.

What about the N75, I know it is a cheaper camera but I love it for travel.
