Can it be used while taking infrared pictures? Since the remote is infrared, wouldn't that make a hot spot? Or would the infrared filter prevent that? I am not sure I am making sense, but I know what I mean. I have a wired remote that I have been using but it would be nice to be wireless. It wouldn't be that big of a deal since I don't take infrareds all the time so I guess it is a question out of curiosity. Thanks

I use my IR remote to take IR photos of myself. I set the camera to have a three-second delay, though. Otherwise, the IR remote would be in the shot, even if the IR light would not. Three seconds gives me time to hide the danged thing. I'm not saying where I hide it.
