I have a D40x and have 2 older vivitar 100v flashes that I
would like to be able to use with some sort of remote unit,
that way I'm not directly hooked up to my camera where the
flashes would probably ruin the cameras circuitry.

any thoughts would be great. thanks yall

Ive been watching those on Ebay too. Does anyone use the same thng and how about quality?

You get what you pay for. If you want 100% reliability through walls and floors with a 25m range get some pocket wizards. These do the job for all other occasions. Expect to have some quicks though. Some people have problems, but for others these work flawlessly.
