Yes, I saw that post, and just stayed out of it. The internet has a way of allowing a LOT of new-to-photography people to get erroneous information published on some of the bigger, more popular web sites and blogs. I'm starting to see more and more outright misunderstandings of very simple, old-school technical matters badly,badly botched by young writers who have been "in the game" for long periods of time, like two to four years. And of course, since the sites have very strong SEO optimization and have keyworded the living $hi+ out of their articles, this kind of crap rises to the top in thousands and thousands of searches people do when they try to find out how simple things work. The blind leading the blind, on group tours!!!
