1st Picture is kim and me hiking. I Held the camera in front of us and hoped for the best. Next 2 pictures granddaughter Isabella 1 hour old.

Cute baby, but they don't seem much more than snapshots to me. Work on your lighting, DOF control, and try to get some creative angles.

Maybe frame the last shot a little higher so her eyes rest on the top-third line. That way, you get more of the blanket in and help push the 'I'm an adorable bundle of joy' message.
