10 miles of salt !!

Never been to the Bonneville Salt Flats/Speedway before so took a short trip there this weekend - incredible !! Just the speedway is over 10 miles long, and that's just a small part of the park.. Thought a 3 shot panorama would help to portray this beautiful place... I walked out over a mile on the salt where there were no tire tracks, and it's like fresh snow... but as hard as a rock... The only sound is the wind...

Did a bit of hooning on the salt, bad idea. Took me 5 tries with power washer to get all the salt off my car.

Cool photos, I was out to Salt Lake City not too many years ago and went to the Great Salt Lake. Very pretty and amazing. Also went to the Golden Spike while out there. Talk about history lessons. I agree about how hard it is though. It is truly hard as a rock.
