Camera: ZEISS IKON DONATA 9x12 from the late 1920s
Lens: Preminar 135mm f:4,5
Film: Ilford MGIV darkroom papper (paper negative)
Place: Vänersborg / Sweden

The fog or paint effect is made by over exposing the negative and then do a very short developing which is quickly stopped.

You have an interesting approach to b&w photography. You have a 'thing" for lo-fi work. This is not easy to make interesting photographs, which do not look cheap. I was trying this things to, with not much success however. My problem maybe is, that I am 100% darkroom guy.
This picture is interesting, but I would say mostly (for me) because the question "what is it ?" pops up. The composition idea is good, quite abstract and the processing gave the touch of impressionism.

Test new thing is how im keeping photography interresting and fun.
I also look much at others work for inspiration and ideas.

The thing in the picture is a wave braiker, don't know if its called that in english (direkt transltion from the swedish word)
There's a harbor for small boats to the left of the shot and this thing is built so this area don't get hit by big waves.

Im also a big fan of darkroom work and I plan on doing more work where.
Am starting to get quite comfortable in it and I can reproduce most of my digital edits to the darkroom.
The very tricky part is when you want diffurent contrast on the same picture.
And it also eats so much times.

Very well, I am glad to hear that. We will have a lot to discuss in the near future as I am film and darkroom only type of guy. I can assure you, that darkroom work (being completely different from digital) is easier, than you think and the satisfaction from well finished print is quite substantial.
Your translation is correct, just the spelling a bit off; should be: wave breaker.

Interesting image and interesting process. I still do chemical photography as well as digital.

By the way, I'd call it a groyne (groin in US spelling) or breakwater, not a wave breaker.

Might be easier if you always have done darkroom work and the try digital.
The learning curve for the darkroom is way harder than the digital (for someone that have i bit know how into computer)

But the feeling you get when your really happy how a darkroom print came out can't be beaten.
