I also often wondered about those numbers. lol
I am not talking just the basic annoying noob questions (which dSLR should I buy )
Clearly you do not understand what I was saying. Probably because my comment was aimed at the people that have been here for more than 48 posts. I meant no offense to noobs, but don't jump on my case when you have no understanding of what is being talked about. I think the others here get what I was saying. I did not mean the well intentioned honest questions. I meant there is a lot of questionable posts by people playing the innocent noob card but they seem like there is a hidden agenda.I am not talking just the basic annoying noob questions (which dSLR should I buy )
Please remember that everyone was a "noob" at some point and, while those questions may seem annoying to you, for those of us who are truly new and want to learn, they are natural questions. And an internet forum on photography, particularly in a "Beginners" section, would seem a natural place to post those questions. I'm too thick skinned to let smart-assed replies bother me too much and such is the world of internet forums. The only way that I am going to learn is to go out and experiment, but I also like to supplement my "trying" with opinions and information from folks who have a lot more experience than I do.
Respectfully,
gonzo
