The grand staircase was built by the WPA and was part of a recreational area on the Missouri River.

The WPA did some really good and long-lasting stonework back then. This is very nice looking.

The structure is in excellent shape considering its age. A few cracked stones here and there, but not many.

I is a workout to climb. There are a few terraces to rest and enjoy.

Thanks! The first time was in August in the morning so sun was at a good place. The second time was in Oct afternoon and a challenge to shoot with the sun position. I was hoping to see more Fall colors.
