That's pretty good for your first try with a converted camera, it is a little bright and I also don't go much on the border. Did you use a custom white balance or was it set by the conversion people? I find using a CPL on bright days helps a lot with controlling contrast and holding detail....I also shoot RAW 100% of the time to maximise captured detail.
