Want full frame and like Canon, 5D classic for 1,100 dollars.

Want Nikon and movie mode? D7000 for 1,100 dollars.

The Cannon xsi is very easy to learn The Cannonxsi2 does offer HD video. but more a gimmick then a need. The Cannon xsi you will love and find easy to learn.

No love for the Nikon D3100?
I personally think this is the best value in an entry level dslr.

It's a very good camera, d300/d90 sensor quality with full HD video.

Unfortunately nikons selection of af-s glass is not so great, unless you want to spend a fortune, but then why buy a 3100?
