Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Finally had my first model shoot tonight in my make-shift home studio. She was fantastic with posing and a lot of fun to work with. I have an easy weeks worth of editing to do and will upload a few more here later.

Looks like she is scratching herself. And why a blind in the back ground. Cover up the wall/window with something. Otherwise it looks good

uhhh... what happened to your seamless? Unless you are using the blind as a prop, usually it is not really a good background.

I agree, you can buy white paper by the 8 ft wide roll

I need to buy a backdrop set, I do with what I have for now. I dislike the background too, man I suck at layers and PSing the stands out of the shot. My space is 12'x8' with only 7' ceiling.

Agree. Tugging at her belt loop would be better IMO.

how about the lighting? ;)

I think the lighting looks great. Her posing is okay, but her expressions definitely need work. She looks confused in the first one and the one eye closed thing bothers me in the second one. (and the black socks... photoshop em white... they stand out too much)

For a first attempt these are spectacular!

She's very young and just starting to model and I was shooting off the cuff so to speak.

Lighting consisted oh Lumiquest SBIII (camera) left and behind for hair highlights, silver bounce umbrella left 45* and white shoot through almost on camera axis, slightly above and right. Background lit by SB800 on floor.

Agree with the above comments, but they're a very good first effort, especially in a confined space. Well shot.

it is a good first attempt. i think the hand placement however is a little awkward. but that's something you can keep in mind as you progress.

also, a 7' ceiling leaves little to work with and would suggest you find a taller space if you want to use your lighting's full potential.

I'm impressed which I know doesn't say much! ;) I love the lighting! Very pleasing!

The last one you posted is pretty but I wouldn't mind seeing more fo the light on her face or that brightened.
