I recently re-discovered an old prog called Fractal Explorer, and had forgotten how much fun (and time-consuming) it is. It's a free app (one of many) that allows you to render "spots" which you find within a large selection of established fractal formulas. There are many, many ways to tweak the rendering/iterations, and even alter the formulas (or come up with your own...). Here is my first image today: :D

This is one of my first, but it is 3D not 2D. I called it iceberg.

Nice landscape, skieur!

These particular bright colors seem to work best for this one (may require shades...): "still motion"
