Just 2 shots I took from my office earlier today,C&C if you wish, might have been a good day to try out HDR's but I didn't have my tripod

1. crop off most of the black bottom. It must have been almost dark, or this is very underexposed. Looks like a beautiful sunset, though.

2. underexposed with a crooked horizon, and there seems to be a nuclear blast on the skyline. ;) This would have been interesting in hdr.

i love the 2nd pic BECAUSE the sun looks like an explosion, looks like a film spoiler.

It's a shame the horizon is crooked in the first one, otherwise the 'rule of thirds' would have worked for you perfectly, you've got the dark space along one line and the cloud comin in on another line but the clouds having formed in that angle and the crooked horizon is a pain!

Fix the level in the first in edit.its a keeper.

fized the horizon a little, it was a really bad time, I was about 25 mins late, only had one lens, was in a rush because I was at work and didn't have a tripod or any filters, wasent really dark but the only way I could keep the sky from blowing out was to silhouette the horizon

Well, it happens. And it is a nice scene. You did well with what you had, I think. The birds add some spice. It's just the cloud making me think it's underexposed, but I wasn't there so what do I know? :)

no I agree, Im still a noob so Im having a bit of an issue hitting that "butter" zone, this is an unedited, what I would call properly exposed picture with what I had I just didn't really like it lol
Plus there was no birds lol
