Took my Sigma 85mm 1.4 out yesterday while walking around with family from out of town. Here are two that interested me when I put them on my computer.

i have nothing to critique. but i wanted to comment because i really like these. a lot.

I like the first one. It's mysterious, and there is a lot of interest.

I like the composition of the second one a lot as well, but it just doesn't intrigue me like the first one.

I'd also like to know how you got the tones that you did in both images. Did you use LR? Or Photoshop?

I used both to edit, I have a couple of custom actions that I tweak after to fit the photos

I love my city though, I really can't picture living anywhere else. It'd seem so "boring" lol

Interesting, moody shots. I'm not sure the right edge of the frame in the second really adds anything to the image (just past the OOF bikes).

I know exactly what you're talking about Ken and I agree. I tried to keep my crop in ratio and couldn't get it to work.

unless I went with a square crop, which I might try later.

I find that the verticals in both shots have a left lean. Are you a Democrat?
