It's a good photograph as it is, but if I may make a couple of suggestions:

Be more artistic with your light. The light seems nearly straight on, making for light that is too flat.

Watch your backgrounds. The portion of well-lighted sky behind does not pair well with the dark area opposite. If you were to convince them to pose again, maybe let the flash spill over onto the shrub, for instance, to give more of a sense of place.

Convince your son to point his knees in some other direction rather than toward the camera.

Do this more often so the children will not be camera shy. Print this shot twice, frame it up and give one to each of them to hang in their respective rooms. This will encourage them to want to pose again.
