I like the flare. It gives a little more depth and ambiance to the shot.

I'll go without. Just a personal feeling, but I view the elements of composition as each being a contribution to the whole. With the flare IMO it's stealing the interest in the sky, cliff, and people. Typically I use flare when I have a strong focal point, as an enhancement, being careful that it doesn't overpower my focal point.

I definitely prefer it without the flare. Like @smoke665 above, I feel that the flare steals my eye away from the much more impressive parts of the image. Remember that the eye is (almost) always drawn first to the brightest part of the image.

Another vote for without. The flare is just a bit distracting for me.
