Color or BW for this Image?

Playing with a converted soviet (Industar 50mm) lens on my mirrorless camera. Which take do you prefer- color or BW?

Absolutely color. Comparatively the black and white loses depth and character. Great pet portrait, not "just another pet pic".

Technically, it's not really B&W. More split-toned than anything. Highlights are slightly red and shadows are blue.
