Isn't that an Irish wolfhound? I think those were the largest or tallest (something like that) among all the dog breeds. I could be wrong. Nice shots

it is indeed.

He is 3 years old. His full name is Gelert Laika II of Silhouette farms, but we just call him Gelert haha. You are correct they are classified as the largest breed in the world.

Love the big fluffy puppy but not so much on the bird shot.

I think I would just call him Gel Nice shot and he even looks darn big. For the bird as a silhouette it might work better if it was much closer. What you really need is the warmth of the sun on your neck, then you know you are pointing in the right direction and you get good lighting, works for a lot of us. Sometimes we get stuck though, so the idea is to try all different settings to see if you can pull out more details on it.
