2 Photos for C&C

Oh and yes, the C&C was for the processing aspect but any input is welcome. I stated that these are generic pictures because of their boring and unoriginal nature.

Well, I don't know what "generic" means LOL :) I'll comment on the processing later, now I must finish a case on hydrology and redox conditions :)

I love the edits Ballistic. I also am a fan of the pano for these.

Well thank you... just to clarify, you are a fan of the pano or are not. I don't know if there was a typo.

No, I like the pano. I think panos are great for water shots. I don't think it would be nearly as strong in a normal orientation. My eye wanders, and that's what I want in a landscape shot.

I agree on the processing, it's fine, especially in #1. But I feel that if my eye should wander, there should be something to look at, either if that's mountains, reflections, small details such as flying birds or anything. But I suppose personal taste comes into play :) Just to clarify what I'm trying to say, here's a pano that, imo, fulfills what I tried to explain :)

Yeah I hear what you are saying. I wish I had a placid lake like that.

Why do you ask?

They're decent pictures, but there's nothing exciting about them... they would just get lost in a stack of thousands of others. To me it needs more, something to catch my eye. Anyone who has been to the beach for a sunset knows that no picture can capture it, so the picture needs a bonus IMO.
