All taken with Nikon D3100. Please tell me what you would change to make it better.

This was with the in camera flash.

For this pic I used a SB-400

#1 is cool with the colors. #2 has that large petal to the right drawing my attention away from the droplet.

first is cool, nothing special though.

second is better, but the water drop is lost in all the highlights. I am drawn to the upper right portion where the hotspot is on the leaf. Maybe ton down the exposure or flash strength
