Hi Folks,

Inspiration this week was: colored gels on my backdrop and "prime vs. kit" lens (guess which was shot with the 35mm prime and which is kit lens set to 35mm?)

My daughter has a fever and was very sucky and emotive tonight.. my son was his usual charming self.

Now here's the question: The PP is much heavier than I would ever do.. but I really love the way it makes their eyes pop... thoughts?

Cool, cute kids. The post processing is somewhat heavy but it's quirky and still compliments their skin tones so I dig it. The shot of your son is on the prime.

The only thing I'd reconsider is the digital vignette, it feels too artificial and egg-shaped. Maybe lighten it. I have an aversion to vignettes over white.

I know you said you liked how it makes their eyes pop, but I think it might make them pop just a little too much.
