The colors in the first shot area beautiful. The second doesn't do a whole lot for me, and I really like the third photo as well however the lighting seems a bit off.

Very beautiful shots

regards :D

Thanks a lot man. You seem to always have something positive to say from the moment I signed onto this forum. I appreciate your kind words

Thanks for the input. I felt like the right side of the boat along with the water could have been brought out more lighting wise but I like the photo for the perspective and colors. Thanks again!

Hey captain saturation!

Horizons dead center, horizon tilted, and some strong color saturation.
Just a few things I find to be off about the images.

I kinda like #2 and think its got potential, its a weird looking little dock seemingly out in the middle of nowhere with a man sitting on the right which adds interest, I'd recommend straightening the horizon on that shot, #1 doesnt do much for me and it looks a tad over saturated, I do like #3 but again looks a tad over saturated, Im not trying to criticize just pointing out a few things ;)

I am a fan of #2 because the colors are appropriate, I like #3 too but not the pink in the sails.

I lived in St.Thomas for years and years (my home is St.Croix)...it sure looks like things have changed since Hugo. Where is that first shot with the containers? Is it Sub-Base?

I really wish I could tell you, but I can't haha. I was on a cruise and was touring around just looking at the islands and people most of the time. Can't tell you exactly what that place was, sorry. It may even be St.Marten because I went there as well.

lol, sounds like you were having a good time :D

Sorry; there is a tilt in the horizon in #2, which can be easily corrected; i personally hold that even when horizon is at the middle when there are prominent objects (platform in #2; ship in #3) which passes through the bisecting line with imbalanced distribution on the two halves(see the ship is not exactly divided by horizon into two halves in #3), the "middleness" of the horizon does little or no harm to the visual appeal .....

Regards :D

Lol I did have somewhat of a good time but I unfortunately went with my father and his annoying ex-girlfriend so the whole trip I was trying to stay away from them and shoot as much as i could because I knew I wouldn't have too many opportunities to see places like this. Overall good trip though, lol
