Took the family out to the huge festival today. Here are some photos that I managed to get.

Despite the number of people today, cleavage was a rare thing unless it was a double J. Last year, we went on opening week, and the boobs just spilled, but this week was a big disappointment in that arena. Many seemed to have eaten one too many turkey legs.

wow. for a family day out these are amazing photos. Nice job! Kids are cute. Really like the horse photos and the bird.

Thanks, beebs! I was hoping tpf would resize before rendering, but it seems that the large files are always loaded. sigh

My computer didn't crash but it took FOR-EV-ER to load the pictures last night, and sorry, but I didn't feel like waiting

But now it's better. I agree that they're really nice shots. Most successful ones I think are the single horse galloping and the low angle shot of the furry-vest dude.

didn't even occur to me honestly. Just took a couple extra seconds for the page to load. I figured the kids were sucking my internet speed down again with the tvs and tablets. Fun looking event.
Looks like the family had a good time!

Can someone teach me how to focus track a bird flying head on? I have a few shots with a raptor flying straight at me, but I couldn't maintain focus. I tried the AF-C 3D and selected my point of focus but it then started to track just random things. I would have had some killer shots, but the auto focus point selection was very disappointing.
