Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Some guy dropped his 20D into the ocean . He sent it to Canon but they sent it back with a toe tag.

He dissected it and took plenty of photos of the process. It's quite interesting to see all the parts and what they look like.

yea thats interesting to see the inside of a modern digital cam.... just hope i never get to see the inside of mine!

As someone stated in the comments, it is amazing how much technology we get for the money we pay. Then again, I did watch someone rip apart a P&S non-reusable camera a few weeks ago, in even that technology amazed me!

that's amazing haha.

did you guys see that a lot of the parts were outsourced? :D

No kidding. The vast majority of those parts are standard components used in a lot of other applications. It's a lot cheaper for canon to outsource to people who already make tens of thousands of them a year.

I think it's funny that he has the body cap on.

I hope he didn't make the same mistake I did and touch the capacitor to the flash... My very very tiny Sony U20 P&S gave me a big enough shock to throw me out of my chair. yowsers!
