Photos NOT OK to edit
I've had quite a few DSLR's. From Canon, Pentax, and Nikon. Some of the higher end models too. But I eventually sold all of my DSLR's and got back into film. The only DSLR I kept is my trusty Canon 20D. I'm not sure what all makes it such a great camera, even with less than the zillion megapixels that some folks think they need, but this thing takes spectacular photos. I have the battery grip on it, and it turns it into a tank, but I love a solid camera. The LCD screen is small, and I don't care. When I'm not shooting film with one of my Pentaxes, Canon, or Nikons, the 20D is my go to camera.

Carry on.

I got a 30D at Goodwill for $50. I already had a 50D and two other much more recent DSLRs but could not resist. It was worth it just for the two batteries.

I like the layout of the XXD series. With good glass that trusty old camera is still very competitive with her newer siblings for certain types of shots.

For some reason I also like learning how to use "new" gear.
