I like the both. #2 I agree with er111a. But for #1 I think I'd like a crop that cut out some of the dead space on the left.

The 1st has a busy/uninteresting background in my opinion. The head is cut off too, which is probably not the best. The shot had potential I guess, if it was composed better.

I like the 2nd one, it is interesting and composed well.

Haha thanks. Ya I agree about the first. It was just a random snapshot hanging out with friends it caught my eye though.. There was no real composition involved

Second one was more thought out
