The image was shot in 9 segments and stitched together. I use this method, along with the 1:1 ratio with all my images named "#.." - The main reason is to increase the megapixel count for large prints. They are approximately 36mp, whereas on a 1:1 ratio with the Canon G16 I'd produce images around the region of 9mp. Secondly it can produce a distortion which can be used to my advantage when needed. This particular shot I used a 430ex flash off camera.

Looks like something Andy Warhol might have hung on his wall. Not sure if that's what you'd like to hear!

But it's unusual and technically challenging. Quite a project.

I would have liked to see a little more differentiation in the B&W translations of the color image. Orthochromatically, the reds and magentas are pretty far off and the black should have translated black to black. I do like the color though.

I love the color version. I love the dramatic lighting and tones are amazing. Great work

I prefer the color version, but there's enough of a slant to the pastels that that is all I can focus on.

The b&w conversion was tricky, I tried to get good separation in tonal value between neighbouring colours, this was the best I could do. Granted, my b&w conversions need more work but thanks for the input, it's helpful. I may revisit the conversion process and see what I can do.
