Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Finals are over and finally able to focus on photography again. I haven't really use my PP software so I'm pretty new to editing. I did most of my editing on LR3 and a little on CS5 after. If there's anything else I could do to make it better since I don't know many tricks yet, please do criticize. I know those photos are all center but I took some at work last night and I haven't had time to do any new photo shoot. Good news is that I asked a few of them and they agreed for a photo shoot. Anyways that's all I have now, Thanks!

#1, DOF is too shallow. The eye on the left is sharp, the right is soft. WB is too warm
#2 Not bad, WB is too warm
#3 Not bad. Could be improved if you bounce the flash first instead of direct flash. Background could be improved

I like 2# best although somewhat warm and also alot of dead space, i think it would look better with a tighter crop

And 3# is ok but it's very harsh lightning, if you don't have a external flash that you can bounce or remove from camera i suggest that you place your subjects next to a window.

3 would be my best choice. id personally clone out the ear ring it distracts, also if you took it in RAW try dropping the clarity a bit to soften her skin

I love shot 2. It has so much character and warm, friendly lines. In 1 and 3, it looks as if you are going for a glamour look. Here is a PP on 1 with some minor tweaks:

If you like this edit, here is what was done:
- overall sharpened and selective sharpened the eyes.
- added some fill light with LR3
- Decreased the saturation on green and increased the luminance of green to try to eliminate the green cast on the exposed cheek.
- softened the skin
- added grain back to the skin
- brightened the whites of eyes and the colour irises
- Now that it is posted, I see that I should have done some noise reduction for the background and sections of the hair
