It was all of 19°F this morning and I was there to see the sun break the horizon. Using the Nikkor 300 2.8 D AF-I ED and TC14-Eii, a birdin' I did go. The Eagles didn't move for 2 hours. Of Course they were on the other side of the river, high in the trees. So, I shot the geese.

1. Just converted and cropped.

2. Same as 1.

Then a Buick came roaring by. So as best I could, I shot it.

3. I tried to process this one a bit. The bird was quite a ways away and moving right along.

There's more of these on my Flickr.

Good start with the new setup. Remember to straighten your horizons in the first two.

Thank you. I did go in and straighten the lot, at least in my computer.

my 300 2.8 and 2x teleconverter is my main goto combo

You still need to find a way to get closer to really pull the quality you can out of that lens combo.
