30D - "shutter counter"

Actually it's file numbering counter, but I've been using to count shutter.

Does this go past 9999 or is my 30D bugged? I got message saying it was "full" or something like that. I was expecting it to go on "forever".

I think he is talking about continuous image numbering/counting..
Ex: IMG_2563.JPG

He is using it to count his shutter count...

I guess his numbering went to 9999 and stopped with a problem...

it only goes up to 9999 then resets to 0001
