395 and beyond (1)

I have returned from a short vacation up the 395 HW, mammoth lakes, devil's postpile, bodie, and reno NV

I think you did a great job creating a very simple but effective effect when you composed most of the shots. the blurry trees in #3 bugs me a little bit. Did you tweak the levels a little to punch up the blue skys. Some of the objects are a little dark, but thats a real easy fix in photoshop.

I-395 goes around providence RI so i will assume this is like rt 395 or something lol.

nice pics, they all give a feeling of desertion.

5-8 were all from a ghost town so... Sounds like I got the feeling across

The air there is unreal- I've never seen skies as blue as Bodie anywhere.

Got more? How was the Postpile?- I've never been there, looked like too much trouble to shuttle.

I had a bunch of fun

The postpile was neat, massive...even astounding, and only about a 1.5 mile hike if that much. Then there was the 5 mile hike to a waterfall that none of the shots of turned out...oh well
