Cross your eyes until the black line in the middle becomes two lines, then keep crossing your eyes until an image forms between the lines. Thats the 3D image. When its all there your brain should lock in on it and you will see a good clear 3D image. Not everyone can do it.

i LOVE stereoscopic photography, these are quite nice

I can't "see in 3D". Even at the theaters with the glasses. It was kind of a problem when I ran the yearbook in high school and we decided to do a 3d yearbook :P

Thats too bad. Ive been doing it so long now my eyes just lock right in. Once you get the hang of it, then its really easy to see. Of course the right subject makes it easier such as the flowers here are more 3D than the Uga Chaka baby.

even in your earlier post of this kind i requested several time to explain what is meant by "crossing eyes". But no body cared to explain. Don't know whether the attitude has changed now

Crossing eyes technique : Look at your nose with both eyes at the same time.

Oh my.... i was putting fingers in eyes and pushing it to all sides to see what happens :grumpy:

Its hard to explain how to cross your eyes if you cant do it. Hold your hand out and look at your finger with the monitor in the background. Now bring your finger slowly towards your nose and keep focusing on your finger. If you can notice the monitor the image will start to split and become two. Crossing your eyes is focusing on another plane. You can do that, maybe just not on a conscious level. The 3D effect will work with any picture. For close up subject move the camera about 4 to 6 inches horizontally. For subjects further away it might mean moving the camera a foot or two.
