3D printed parts

Hey all, my company has purchased a 3d printer, and it's been pumping out parts for model testing like crazy. They asked me to take some photos to go on our quarterly newsletter. Here's a few of my favourites plus a shot of the setup. Any critique is welcome!

Hi Trevor. IMO white on black looks better and maybe some diffuser would be helpful.

The one my son's high school had used a white plastic for the part, and a black plastic for the 'filler' material that helps support the part during fabrication. The colors aren't important - except to show "what's what", but the fact that they're different material is. Once the part has been made, you put everything in a solvent bath. This dissolves away the black material, leaving only the final part. Doing this allows the part to have e.g. free-moving ball bearings inside their race.

I'm not sure what the material specifications are, but it feels like a hard plastic. When we first bought it, we printed a bunch of things and dropped them. I think we only fractured a piece when dropping it at 10 ft or something like that.
