hi guys, this is my third try at portraits. im trying to get better and been listening to what you all have been telling me. please let me know what you think! any help would be appreciated! photo was taken with her in the middle from her request.

This is a beautifully simple shot. The only thing I would fix is the small scar on her forehead. also, that strap on her shoulder is distracting...it may be more stunning in black and white but in color is beautiful too!

This is nice! I agree about the strap though, I would have asked her to take that off. Maybe you can clone it.

wow thanks guys! that's the most positive comments ice gotten so far lol. yeah I agree the strap is annoying and I wish I would have told her to remove her bag. I'm not great at cloning but ill try and attempt it to see what I can do. If anyone has the skills to do it, it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks man, I appreciate it. As far as the scar, she wanted to keep it there

Your choice of butterfly lighting is kind of unusual, and I think another scheme might have looked better. Did you make any different shots?

Also the strap. BTW: if you ask a model to unshoulder her bag, watch carefully for any slight change in her posture that results from her holding the bag in her hand. Make further suggestions about where she holds the bag if you see unusual posture.

I do like the background.

thanks for the suggestions. As for the lighting it was just natural light from a ceiling Window. I don't have any other shots with this background.
