Hi Hotrocks.
You can adjust the "levels" in photoshop to clear away some of the mist and add more depth to your shots like this.

Another tip is to save your file as .JPEG this will make the file size a lot smaller which will make it faster over the internet.

What nossie said, some of these could really use levels and contrast - #1 needs some contrast, definitely.
#3 with the moon would've been nicer if there was more detail in the moon - it's looks like a bright white blob without the details.
I would say #5 is your most interesting. You have the leading line of the road going for you composition wise. However, I think that this photo would look good with a vertical crop around the S curve of the road. Try it and see what you think.

The #1 photo would be probably a good potencial for a B&W conversion with yellow/orange filters simulated. What do you think?
