580exII & pocket wizzard plusII

Dear You,

i have a little problem with my flash 580ex. when i connect a pocket wizzard plusII to it, the flash automatically turns off after a few minutes. witch is not really praticable in a day by day use.
so if anybody as a tip or the solution for that, it would be grandly appriciate
by advance, thank you...

Disable the Auto power off function on your 580.

pg 27 of the manual. hold down the C.Fn button until the menu pops up.
scroll to here: select 1 to disable

C.Fn-01 Auto power off setting # 1
