5D Mark II in canada

Hello there,

I went to my camerashop today in Montreal to check availability of the 5D MarkII, there are still 60 people on the wait list and they received only... 5 Items!!
I heard that canon Canada ordered only 500 cameras for the shops, when each shop would need at leat 20 cameras for consumers, and there are certainly 300 + camera shops in canada...

I am not in a rush, I will wait, but I can imagine that it is really frustrating for some people, and I just find this procedure really strange...
reminds me when I waited 3 months to get my D200 3 years ago
