Just received the Canon EOS 5D Mark II that I mentioned in an earlier post. It looks like it just came out of the box. Seller told me the camera powered up, but was able to do much more than that. First thing I did was check the battery compartment and sure enough, I noticed the micro switch was partially concealed. I was able to move it a bit, and the camera started showing signs of life. But my curiosity got the better of me and I guess I pushed it too far. Now the switch is hidden and only the upper LCD screen works. The camera is dead once again. Wondering if this issue is worth the effort? Does this sound like an expensive fix? As said, the camera appears to be in excellent cosmetic condition and I know it works when the micro switch is freed up. Looking forward to hearing from you.
