Picked up the MK III and a 16-35L a few weeks ago, finally had a change to play around with HDR a little bit. Still new to HDR so let me know what you think
It's a bit flat--I'm wondering if HDR was needed since there is low contrast and your overcast subject mostly fills the frame. I personally think some shadows and contrast would make your subject more imposing and moody.
It simply looks overprocessed and I'm not sure this was a good choice for HDR. Just because you can do HDR doesn't mean you should. The textures in the grass, sky and trees are distracting.
