Our season is now over. Girls played really well. This game was on Friday evening starting at 7:15pm. As it got longer, and went into double overtime, and then a 'shootout' my light was rapidly going out as you will see in the progression of pictures.

By the end I had ISO up to 3200, f/2.8 and speed around 1/400. I didn't want to go much slower, glad it ended when it did! My daughter put in the last goal, but I blew the shot. Such is life, I was just happy she made it. Without further ado here are the results:

1. Warmup

2. Trying to keep it in bounds (my daughter)

3. From the corner

4. Shootout! (miss, notice the green players in the background. One can't even watch)

5. Success!

6. From the sidelines:

Thanks for looking.

Did you shoot these in RAW? The WB is off from photo #4 onward. Should be an easy fix. Also, 6 appears to be soft. You captured some nice moments though, and I am glad your daughter's team won!

Yes, I always shoot RAW+Jpeg. I had the WB on 'sunny' at the beginning, and I should have adjusted to 'cloudy' by the end. Those should be easy to fix in Lightroom.

I just throw the jpeg up on photobucket (as shot) as the parents are not too picky, and I don't charge anything. Thanks for looking. I'll see what I can do when I get home with the RAW files.

#6 is a 85% crop. I was behind the goal, and just grabbed a shot after the goal went in. It looks better on the original uncropped shot, but then again...it's pretty small (and angled).
:lmao:

Do you crop a lot? Many of them seem a bit soft. Not OOF, just lacking resolution.
