I think you did the right thing getting a 70-200 2.8, and they are such nice lenses.

I just learned how to video AF with my 7D today lol. I didnt even think you could before. It works, but it is slow and fails completely sometimes.
For you 7D guys who dont know either, you simply press the AF ON button when in movie mode. Presto...AF.
