WoW that's impressive. I am less impressive about the number of pixels and more impressed by the highlight recovery / dynamic range. Both of which have been ignored during the megapixel rat race.

ive done that with a flatbed and 35mm film.

yeah but 35mm can't even get close to resolving that, out of my Nikon scanner i can only pull 25MP most anyway, after that it's mostly just grain, unless i'm shooting something like Tech Pan.
