Anyone own both and how do they compare? I've read the shaft on the Westcott is a bit flimsy. I have the 64" Buff and I like the quality. The Buff is slightly cheaper but with shipping they end up being around the same price. Westcott I could pick up locally today but I'd rather wait if the Buff is better quality.

No experience with the PCB gear; I have several Wescott modifiers and while I REALLY like the light, their overall build-quality is sub-par at best.

I have the original PCB 86" and it is only about 10 years old. Going strong Have never had it blown over outdoors which I expect would damage it. Mine is the silver and I use diffuser if I want to soften it. When the light is focused, it produces a hard edge around the circumferance of the beam with little spread even at 15-18 feet. Think spot light.
