A beautiful flower C&C

Im back with new tryout of macro and sharpness shoots, i have listened for few advices of good forum members and here are my results.



This was shot on clear sunny day and flowers were in different angle from the sun, and i shoot in different angle so i got different light on photos. Both were shoot @55mm f13, 1/200 with flash on ttl. Maybe i should play little more with manual flash to get better balance, and too bad my lens can't focus more closely.

I'm pretty satisfied with images, i see better results in sharpness and lightning, but either my lens is broken or VR on 18-55mm kit lens is plain c**p. VR actually make it more blurry even on hand.

What you think about photos? All C&C are welcome.

For me personally the backgrounds In both shots are too distracting, my eyes keep wandering to them. That said focus seems set right to the flowers in both shots.
