I always like you pics but I find myself liking them a little better with ones like this, they seem more brilliant and alive. The different exposure technique is very obvious and it gives your pics some pop. Like with any pic, I suppose the subject matter and it's surroundings will dictate which style of editing is optimal. Good choice here.

Thanks guys. I am experimenting with exposing to the right while checking the histogram to avoid clipping the highlights.

I am in a green mood today, so it seems...but while I like the vista, i find two issues i am not overly fond of. The first, which I could correct is the preponderance of green in the washed up seaweed and two, I think you got a little heavy handed in using a graduated filter for the sky...maybe about 20% less. By reducing the "brightness" in the green, I was able to more clearly match the tonal level of the upper right sky, two diagonals working with one another rather than fighting one another. What I found when I first looked at the image, was the tendency to stop at the green a smidgen too long to be able to observe the whole scene all at once.

As always, just an opinion and not to be construed as better...just different.
